  • Our gents section also has an indoor bowls group who play at Largs over the winter months

How to join

Becoming a member of Millport Bowling Club is simple. We've made the process as easy as possible so you can start enjoying the club without delay.

You can download and complete a Membership Form here, then just call into the club any afternoon between 1:30 pm and 4 pm to join. Membership forms are also available at the club.

We accept Cash, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards.

A warm welcome awaits

New to bowling? Not a problem! We pride ourselves on making new members feel welcome and helping them get started, even if they've never held a bowl before.

  • We offer coaching to new members to learn the basics of bowling.
  • You can use club bowls until you feel confident to invest in your own, and flat soled trainers are okay to get started on the upper green.
  • Once you feel okay with the basics, we would encourage you to join in any of the afternoon fun games where you can start to pick up the rules of bowling as you play alongside other members. Plus, you'll soon get to know everyone as fun game teams are drawn at random!
