Our two distinct greens
At Millport Bowling Club, we boast two exceptional bowling greens.
Our main green is exclusively for members, visiting bowling clubs, inter club matches and exciting competitions, offering a pristine surface for serious play.
For visitors, our upper green provides a relaxed 'Pay & Play' experience, perfect for a fun game with family and friends and those new to bowls.
All equipment is supplied, and only flat-soled trainers are required, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy the sport.
Putting fun for all ages
Beyond our bowling greens, discover our delightful 18-hole putting green. It's a fantastic activity for both adults and children, promising hours of fun and friendly competition. Just like our upper bowling green, all necessary equipment is supplied, so you can just turn up and play. It's the perfect way to enjoy the fresh air and stunning surroundings.
Our welcoming clubhouse
Step into our clubhouse, nestled in a serene country setting, offering fantastic views across the Clyde estuary. Visitors can enjoy a selection of soft drinks, while members have access to our exclusive bar. It's the perfect spot to relax after a game, socialise, and soak in the beautiful surroundings. We also offer plenty of benches around the greens to sit and enjoy any games being played.
Experience our community spirit
Our facilities are designed to foster a friendly community atmosphere. From April to September, members are encouraged to join a game of bowls every afternoon, with teams drawn at 1.45 pm for a 2 pm start. Tea and coffee are readily available, and the members' bar is open daily. Visitors can pay to play bowls or putting, with soft drinks available to purchase, making Millport Bowling Club a truly inclusive and enjoyable destination for everyone.
